VW Recalls 110,000 Vehicles

Oct. 10, 2016

Oct. 10, 2016—The Volkswagen Group is recalling 110,000 2015 and 2016 Volkswagen Golf and Golf GTI hatchbacks, Golf SportWagen wagons and Audi A3 due to a potential gas leak, according to a report by USA Today.

The issue stems from the suction pump inside of the fuel tank, according to the report. The fuel in these models may flow into the evaporative emissions system, and, if it accumulates, may leak through the charcoal canister filter element.
