10 Missions Media, MWACA Announce New Publication

March 4, 2019

MWACA Magazine will begin circulation in May, and is a partnership between Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA) and the publisher of Ratchet+Wrench.

March 4, 2019—10 Missions Media, publisher of Ratchet+Wrench, announced Saturday the launch of MWACA Magazine, a joint venture with the Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA).

Chris Messer, vice president and publisher of 10 Missions Media, made the announcement during Saturday's opening general session for the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo in Kansas City, Mo.

"We are incredibly honored that MWACA is allowing us to publish this magazine on their behalf and represent the industry-leading organization," Messer said. "MWACA Magazine will be chock full of original content to highlight the association's contributions to the industry and showcase the leading work of the members that make this association so special. The publication will be a benefit for current members, but will also drive opportunities for new members to become involved and contribute to our industry."

Beginning in May, MWACA Magazine will be sent out quarterly to Ratchet+Wrench readers in Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. The publication will follow a similar format and style to that of 10 Mission Media's core publications, including FenderBender, FIXED and Ratchet+Wrench.

"The challenges facing business owners in the auto service industry continue to grow—but so too do the opportunities out there to succeed," Bryce Evans, vice president of content and events at 10 Missions Media, said. "We're excited to offer another platform to provide our readers with information they need to thrive in the years ahead."

MWACA Magazine strives to provide readers with strategies and business-building tips straight from MWACA members.

"We would sincerely like to thank MWACA executive director Sheri Hamilton, MWACA president Jerry Holcom, the MWACA board of directors and the publication's current supporters—Advance Professional, BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, CARQUEST Technical Institute, Kukui, Mitchell 1, NAPA AutoCare and TECHNET Professional—for putting their trust in our team," Messer said.
