Feb. 10, 2020—Matt's Automotive has opened a new auto repair location in Moorhead, Minn., reports Inforum.
11 months after a heavy snowfall collapsed the roof, totaling the old structure, the new two-story service center plans to open for business today.
Owner Matt Lachowitzer said the $1.7 million investment is both a recruiting tool and a thank you to a part of Moorhead that helped him jumpstart his Fargo-Moorhead fleet of auto and collision repair centers.
The new shop includes climate-controlled service bays with seven lifts, extensive sound insulation, lots of windows for natural light, and even a $30,000 tire tread checking system and a room dedicated to staff training and customer classes.
An open house is scheduled to be held this Saturday, Feb. 15.
