ASE App Allows Certification Extension

April 21, 2020

ASE has unveiled a new app that allows auto service professionals to extend their certification expiration dates by one year.

April 21, 2020—ASE has released a new renewal app that allows auto service professionals to extend their certification expiration dates by one year, according to a press release.

According to the release, the new renewal app gives technicians a remote option for managing their certifications due to the stay-at-home orders in effect in most states due to COVID-19.

The app allows technicians to test their technical knowledge through the app via their phone, tablet, or computer. The program is available to technicians who are already certified in the automobile series of tests (A1-A9). New subscribers to the ASE renewal app will also receive a one-time, six-month extension when they subscribe by June 30, 2020, according to the release.

According to another release, ASE is hosting a free webinar on Thursday, April 23 at 4 p.m. Eastern Time to go over the new app.
