Dec. 1, 2017—The Los Angeles Auto Show, which runs Dec. 1-10, is set to feature ample electric vehicles and autonomous driving displays, according to a report by cleantechnica.com.
2016 was a year where 159,000 new EVs hit the road, and sales were up 38 percent over 2015’s numbers. Craig Van Batenburg, founder of the Automotive Career Development Center, said your shop can expect models from certain automakers that are leading that pack, such as Tesla, Chevrolet, Nissan, Ford and Toyota.
Security is also scheduled to be high on the panel agenda.
EV models such as the Nissan LEAF, and Sondors three-wheel, enclosed EV are expected to be displayed prominently.
The LEAF, the top-selling EV of all-time, is now bigger, yet lighter. The Sondors three-wheel model features two wheels in the front of the vehicle and one in the back.
