Aug. 20, 2014—The Automotive Aftermarket Riders’ Club (AARC) announced Tuesday its annual Ride for the Future event will be held Oct. 30–Nov. 1, and will travel to a new location.
The event, which begins in the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson dealership lot, will head south toward Sedona, Ariz., instead of the Grand Canyon, as it has in past years. Participants will ride to raise funds for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation through pledges and sponsors.
“Our annual AARC ride is a great start to Industry Week,” Bill Maggs, lifetime trustee of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation said. “Each year more industry professionals join us for an incredible three-day adventure, this time to scenic Sedona. While we may have changed course, we still have the same worthwhile goal of raising awareness, as well as funds, for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and its scholarships and educational programs.”
For information about how to sponsor or participate in the AARC Ride for the Future event, email Mike Mohler.
To date, the University of the Aftermarket Foundation has funded millions of dollars of scholarships, grants, research and ongoing educational programs with the goal of helping to develop a strong, knowledgeable aftermarket workforce.
