Aug. 14, 2014—Wells Vehicle Electronics has released two in-depth training videos about mass air flow and variable valve timing diagnostics, the company announced Tuesday.
The videos are available in both English and Spanish and are part of the company’s case study training library, which features more than 40 free videos. Aimed at helping technicians thoroughly and accurately diagnose vehicle problems, the library is made up of videos that are researched, written and produced in-house by the Wells Technical Services team.
The two new videos—P0171 Mass Air Flow Diagnostics and P0014 and P0306 Variable Valve Timing Diagnostics—feature a technician isolating the problem from a variety of possible issues while using diagnostic and scan tools.
“The popularity of our videos demonstrates the demand among technicians for information that can help them save time in accurately diagnosing and repairing drivability issue,” said John Zochert, director of marketing and product management for Wells Vehicle Electronics. “There is no product promotion or selling—our sole mission is to help the viewer find and fix the problem through the use of easily accessible tools and proven diagnostic procedures.”
