April 15, 2019—A connected car company and online place for car maintenance have teamed up to help manage maintenance for fleet vehicles. According to a report by Auto Remarketing, Zubie and CarAdvise have created a program that helps manage fleet maintenance using a network of 20,000 service facilities.
According to Zubie, "Smart Maintenance provides fleet managers with a digital program to detect, identify, and alert them about vehicle programs."
After, the system allows them to schedule and pay for vehicle repair services. Lastly, the system stores the maintenance history of work performed, the publication reports.
“Zubie’s partnership with CarAdvise solves one more problem in the value chain for fleet managers,” Zubie chief executive officer Gary Tucker said in a news release. “With Smart Maintenance, fleet managers can now optimize their vehicle service as easily as they track their vehicles, all on one seamless technology platform.”
The program claims to deliver a savings of 26 percent on fleets.
