Dec. 19, 2022— AAA estimates 112.7 million people will journey 50 miles or more away from home from December 23 to January. According to its 2022 Travel forecast released on its website, that makes this year the third business travel holiday since 2000.
Nearly 102 million Americans will drive to their holiday destinations, the site reports. And even with higher gas prices, this holiday season could see as many as 2 million drivers compared to 2021.
