74% of US Drivers Say Car Maintenance Important

April 5, 2022

Study tracked driving habits, vehicle care, and attitude toward automotive spending.

April 5, 2022—Nearly two-thirds of American motorists consider car maintenance high priority, says research website Study Finds.

The data is part of a larger pool of information reported from car owners relating to their automotive habits and attitude regarding routine car maintenance.

The study also revealed that while most drivers believe they know when their car isn’t performing well (80%), a partner, parent, or an auto technician is typically the first to notice before the owner.
