Sept. 17, 2021—Sun Auto Tire and Service will welcome Tony Puckett as the new CEO and gain a new majority investor.
A statement from the company says that former CEO Frank Kneller is stepping down to pursue other opportunities. The new majority shareholder is Leonard Green and Partners, while the previous majority shareholder, Greenbriar Equity Group, remains invested.
Leonard Green and Partners have invested in other automotive brands like Mister Car Wash and Caliber Collision.
