Dec. 14, 2020—Toyota is teasing a battery-electric SUV that will soon be announced for European customers.
According to Clean Technica, the new model, which has yet to be named, will be based on the automaker's new e-TNGA platform.
The e-TNGA platform is a flexible, scalable chassis that can be outfitted for rear-wheel, front-wheel, and all-wheel-drive models. More details have yet to be released, but production via the e-TNGA will begin at Toyota's ZEV factory in Japan.
