Honda and General Motors have signed a joint contract to develop automotive technologies.

Sept. 16, 2020—General Motors has partnered with Honda in an attempt to create electric vehicles and enhance vehicular technology.

According to Click on Detroit, the companies will share common vehicles platforms which could mean some vehicles may have Honda exteriors, but use GM products under the hood.

This announcement comes during the pandemic when innovation has slowed everywhere. But the partnership plans to persevere and begin engineering in early 2021.
