Bill Hanvey to Speak at Northwood University Leadership Series

    The speaker series, Leadership Insights – A View from the Helm, is designed to bring the community and influential industry leaders together.

    Jan. 13, 2023— Northwood University, which kicked off its new speaker series, Leadership Insights – A View from the Helm, last fall will feature Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, on February 1 at 6:30 pm. 

    “Bill Hanvey is a world-class leader who currently serves as president and CEO of the Auto Care Association, which represents the entire supply chain of the independent automotive aftermarket,” stated Dr. Kristin Stehouwer, vice president of academics and provost of Northwood University in a press release. “We are beyond grateful to be bringing him to Midland.” 

    The series is designed to create a bridge between the greater community access and influential leaders across various industries. Those in proximity to Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, can hear the lecture at the McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise. Those unable to attend can view a live stream with an opportunity to participate in the question-and-answer [portion via electronic polling software. 

    Hanvey is also scheduled to meet Northwood students enrolled in aftermarket studies.  

    “This upcoming visit from Bill Hanvey will be of great interest to our students and everyone who works in the aftermarket industry in this region,” stated Thomas Litzinger, leader of the University of the Aftermarket, which provides industry-specific professional development to those working in the industry through a partnership with Northwood University.
