GreatWater 360 Auto Care has just announced the acquisition of Krage’s Auto Center in West Chicago, Illinois, according to a press release.

The shop has served the area for more than 38 years and marks the 98th acquisition by GreatWater. In 2022 the company gained 42 locations and acquired another 6 in early 2023.

“We are excited to continue our growth but remain diligent about growing for the right reasons. Our criteria focus [sic] on two core aspects, the current team, and the core values that a shop lives by,” GreatWater COO Scott Kear stated.

Jim Dykstra, GreatWater CEO, said the company chose Krage’s Auto Center because the way it operated aligns with how GreatWater runs.

“From our early conversations it was clear we shared a common approach to treating our team like family and customers like neighbors,” Dykstra said. “The consistent values by both groups made this a perfect match for us.”
