AutoOps Offers Feature to Upsell Previously Declined Services

Online scheduling software AutoOps will be offering a new feature that automatically recommends declined services to customers.

Online scheduling software AutoOps will be offering a new feature that recommends declined services to customers, according to a press release.

The new feature automatically finds services declined by the customer as recorded in the shop management system to upsell to the customer while scheduling online.

AutoOps’s new feature seeks to replace the process of offering declined services through text follow-ups months after the customer’s appointment, or a service advisor trying to sell additional services to customers.

An increase in a shop’s close rate of quoted services is advertised as being a result of the new feature, meant to maximize profits and save service advisors time.

“AutoOps asking the customer, in a non-pushy way, to add another service to their appointment that was previously recommended to help their vehicle run smoothly and safely is an easy way to increase ARO values,” said AutoOps Co-Founder Steven Fafel. “Upselling the customer when they are already engaging with your shop and are in more of a purchasing mindset is a game-changer.”
