ASE Holding Webinar on Current Steering and Suspension Technology in Vehicles

Wes Dickens of MEYLE will cover common failures, diagnostics, tips and tricks, and best practices for steering and suspension repair.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free webinar on current technologies in steering and suspension, according to a recent press release.

Led by Wes Dickens, technical trainer with MEYLE, the session is slated to take place March 18, and is titled “Modern Steering and Suspension.”

Dickens will cover topics that give technicians a better understanding of common failures, diagnostics, tips and tricks, and best practices for steering and suspension repair, including the advantages of four link suspension systems, effects of “bump steer” on alignment, best practices for checking suspension systems, and proper installation techniques.

Participants will also learn about modern suspension technologies that improve ride quality and safety; how electric power steering works and how it compares to hydraulic steering systems; and tips on when to replace electric rack and pinions, as well as how they interact with other automotive systems.

Registration for the webinar is available online.
