ASE Hosting Webinar on Diagnostic Strategies for Modern Vehicles
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free webinar on Jan. 27 to go over strategies for diagnosing modern vehicles, according to a press release.
Titled “Innovative Automotive Diagnostics: Real Cars, Real Fixes,” the session will be led by Garage Gurus’ Josh Whiteman. Participants will learn how to leverage overlooked scan-tool features like Toyota’s ROB history, interpret unusual DTC structures and use simple PID, such as the MAP sensor, as powerful diagnostic shortcuts.
Additionally, Whiteman will also demonstrate how in-cylinder pressure testing can quickly confirm exhaust restrictions and valve timing without teardown.
Registration is online at this link. Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance for the live session. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
