ACA had been contacted by an instructor who sought ways to support the growing number of women in his program, and secured donations from Cutting Edge Automotive Solutions and ATD.

The Auto Care Association’s Tool and Equipment Community recently partnered with Cutting Edge Automotive Solutions and ATD Tools, Inc. to provide over $30,000 in tools to the automotive and diesel technology program at Livingston Area Career Center in Pontiac, Illinois.

As shared in a recent press release, ACA had been contacted by Colt Gragert, automotive and diesel technology instructor at Livingston, who sought ways to support the growing number of women in his program and to learn more about Women in Auto Care.

When Gragert mentioned lacking the tools needed for hands-on training, ACA secured donations from Cutting Edge Automotive Solutions and ATD.

“Colt’s commitment to empowering students—especially young women entering the field—aligns perfectly with our mission,” said Missy Stephens, manager of community engagement for ACA. “It was an honor to help connect him with our association’s Tool and Equipment community to bring this support to life.”
