Mike Bennett, president of Mike's KARS and executive business coach for Automotive Training Institute, will be leading a session at the upcoming Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, taking place October 8–10 in Glendale, Arizona.

With more than three decades of experience in the independent auto repair industry, Bennett is an ASE Master Technician and owns Mike’s KARS Inc. in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Fully immersed in the industry for his entire professional career as a master technician, shop foreman, general manager, and automotive shop owner, Bennett has a unique and broad perspective on the shop owner experience, and can communicate with a “been there and done that” perspective.

As an Alumni shop owner with the Automotive Training Institute, he continues to operate his shop with his wife, Shelle, and is now a nationally certified executive trainer. Bennett has spent the last 11 years as a full-time business coach with ATI, leading two of ATI’s premier shop owner 20 groups and the first-in-industry CEO/COO development program.

With AI-powered search engines, voice assistants, and predictive algorithms, customers no longer just “Google” a shop—they’re being directed to specific businesses based on AI-driven recommendations. Bennett’s session will teach shop owners how to stay ahead of AI-driven customer behavior and ensure their shop shows up when and where it matters most.
