Mitchell 1 Releases Multi-Point Inspection Tool for Manager SE Shop Management System
Mitchell 1 has released a new multi-point inspection tool for its Manager SE shop management system, according to a recent press release.
Called Manager SE Inspections, the new feature is integrated with the new Job View interface. It allows for technicians to conduct digital inspections using smartphones or tablets, with the ability to capture photos, videos, and to take notes. That data syncs with the browser-based Workshop View, where service advisors are alerted as soon as the inspection status changes to “inspected” and are able to price the items for that estimate directly within Manager SE’s Job View feature.
After the inspection, customers receive a branded digital report by text or email that includes annotated photos, videos, and any notes specific to the repairs. Customers can review each item, approving or declining services via a portal on their phone or computer. Deferred work will be saved in Manager SE for follow-up.
The tool also aims to make estimates more organized, with inspection items automatically converted into job containers and the ability to create and re-use service-specific templates.
“The mobilefirst process speeds customer approvals by putting clear, visual inspection reports directly into their hands, wherever they are,” said Nick DiVerde, senior director of product management for Mitchell 1. “At the same time, it streamlines workflows for the team by reducing extra steps. That way, they can focus on what matters—delivering great service.”
