Matt Mevert, owner of Mevert Automotive & Tire Center and Hale’s Automotive in Illinois, has been named the 2026 Ratchet+Wrench Award winner. Mevert has grown his business from a one- or two-car shop into two full-service locations with 23 employees and $5.2 million in annual revenue, but his impact extends well beyond business growth.
