Lucid To Emphasize Mobile Repair

A fleet of the company's mobile vans will be operated by employees that are certified technicians.

July 16, 2021—Lucid Motors, an up and coming EV manufacturer, announced much of its maintenance and repair services will be mobile, Electrek reported.

Lucid, which plans to launch its flagship EV, the Air, sometime in the second half of 2021, said it will have a fleet of mobile vans operated by employees that are certified technicians.

Lucid does currently have six brick-and-mortar service centers and plans to add more, however the bulk of the service will happen through mobile service, according to the report.

“Annual maintenance, routine servicing, and most repairs will be taken care of right in your driveway. In a parking lot. Or at your workplace. No need to carve out time in your day to bring your car in—we work around you and your schedule,” the company said in a statement.
