ASE Holding Webinar on Electric Vehicle Service

Vince Manship of Garage Gurus will cover service procedures for high and low-voltage batteries.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will be holding a webinar on servicing electric vehicles, according to a press release.

Taking place on Jan. 9, the live session is titled “Electric Vehicle (EV) Service” and will be led by Vince Manship of Garage Gurus.

Manship will cover key points surrounding EV service. Much of the webinar will inform attendees on how high-voltage EV batteries operate, delving into the specifics of how they charge, how to identify appropriate temperature management systems, and recognize service disconnects.

The webinar will also discuss low-voltage batteries, including the different types that exist and the testing procedures in place for them.

Those interested in attending the webinar may register to view the live session online. For anyone who can’t make it to the live session, a recorded version may be provided following its broadcast. Participants of the live session will receive a certificate of attendance through their e-mail.
