Automotive Leaders Launch Women of Color Network
Aug. 28, 2020—Four women from different segments of the automotive industry have launched the Women of Color Automotive Network.
According to Auto Remarketing, the organization hopes to act as a conduit for industry connections, education and resources for women of color looking to grow in the automotive field.
The founders are:
- Patrice Banks, founder and chief executive officer of the Girls Auto Clinic service repair shop
- Amanda Gordon, founder and CEO of the Gojo Auto independent car dealership
- Erikka Wells, a sales and service marketing manager in the retail auto space
- Kerri Wise, vice president of an automotive online marketplace
At the core of the organization's mission is the drive to bring more diversity to a historically white and male automotive industry.
