Ratchet+Wrench Conference Workshop Speakers Announced

The names of two of the speakers for the 2017 Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference have been released. 

April 14, 2017—Ratchet+Wrench announced Thursday the renowned shop operators that will deliver the Super Session workshops at the 2017 Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, Sept. 24–26 at the Westin Lombard near Chicago.

Brian Sump, owner of Avalon Motorsports and Urban Autocare in Denver, and Rissy Sutherland, COO  and co-founder of Honest-1 Auto Care, will each lead a three-hour, interactive workshop—both to take place on Day 1 of the event.

Sump, the cover subject of the premier issue of Ratchet+Wrench, will present “The Three Keys to Effective Leadership,” where he will provide insight on how shop operators can switch from working in their shops to growing their businesses by becoming more effective leaders. 

Sump will also present a one-hour session later in the conference that will provide solutions to lock-down data and prevent cyber security threats for shops.

Sutherland, one of the industry’s foremost experts in shop operations, will deliver “Nothing But Net,” a fast-paced profitability bootcamp that will give attendees the keys to achieving and maintaining monster margins.  

The Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference will include educational sessions, deep-dive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at helping shop owners and managers make money, save money and work smarter. Conference sessions and speakers were pulled from the best Ratchet+Wrench magazine content from the last several years.
