Brembo Brake Systems Debut at NAIAS

Jan. 22, 2016

Jan. 22, 2016—Brembo made its debut at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) with a booth that showcased more than 30 brake components. Brembo’s products were fitted on more than 50 vehicles at NAIAS.

“Brembo produces high-quality products that are highly stylized as well,” Dan Sandberg, president and chief executive officer, Brembo North America. “Our products are selected by the OEMs because of those two factors. We work daily with our OEM partners to develop new, custom colors to enhance the look of the vehicles as well as functionality and design.”

Brembo’s booth featured stylized high performance and street calipers along with the latest in carbon ceramic material brake discs. Also on display, the recently introduced, award-winning eight-piston aluminum B-M8 caliper, an aftermarket brake specifically designed for the front braking systems of trucks, SUVs and large high-performance sedans, sits alongside six-piston aluminum calipers for the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE63, Dodge Charger Hellcat  and Chevrolet Corvette Z07, atop a dual cast disc with overcast aluminum hat, a two-piece floating disc and a Carbon Ceramic Material (CCM) disc, respectively.
