April 5, 2013—Organizers of Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) on Friday announced that the annual trade show will become a two-day expo with three days of educational seminars starting with this year’s event.
In the past, ASRW featured a three-day expo. Event organizers said the change is in response to feedback gathered from exhibiting companies and attendees, and is meant to offer significant business and financial efficiencies for all participants.
“After diligently compiling, researching and examining feedback from our loyal participants, these changes reflect the culmination of months of work, and we are so pleased to reveal our plans,” said Ron Pyle, president of the Automotive Service Association (ASA). “This new show structure was carefully crafted to foster a deeper level of networking and community among attendees and within the industry, and provides a solution to a longtime industry need identified through our research.”
ASRW organizers said the new event schedule includes the same number of expo hours compared to past years, but the time has been streamlined into two days rather than three.
The ASRW show floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas will be open Oct. 17-18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ASRW’s educational conferences will take place Oct. 16-18.
ASRW organizers said several key events will change for the 2013 event to provide attendees with more value, including the ASRW Industry Forum panel discussion and the creation of a new networking event on the show floor.
