Stellantis Recalls 1.3M Ram Pickups

The recall reportedly includes more than 1.23 million vehicles in the United States. 

Dec. 9, 2022— Stellantis issued a recall this morning on 1.4 million pickup trucks globally over an issue with tailgate latches that could cause them to open while driving. 

The automaker’s recall covers Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2019 through 2022. 

The recall includes more than 1.23 million vehicles in the United States. Stellantis will mail its owner’s notification letters by late January. 

According to Reuters, injuries or crashes have been reported.
