EVs Only Vehicles to Post Gains in Q1

April 6, 2022

While major automakers saw losses in gas-powered vehicle sales, EV-based manufactures were in the black for the first quarter.

April 6, 2022—While all major car brands took losses in the first quarter of 2022, electric vehicle brands were profitable, reported TechCrunch.

Tesla and Polestar sales rose sharply in the U.S, while Ford, which announced its divisional split between eclectic and gas-engine vehicles, reported a record 37.9% jump in EV sales.

Hyundai, Kia, and GM also sold more EVs in the first three months of 2022 as compared to the same time last year.
