HiTech Automotive has new owners.

Jan. 4, 2022—A longtime employee of HiTech Automotive, a Florida-based repair shop, has assumed ownership of the location, the Osprey Observer reported.

Gary Olson has worked at the shop for 12 years as the service manager under the previous ownership of Joe and Melissa Canfield. Olson, along with his business partner and father-in-law, have now purchased the shop, according to the report.

“Buying the shop was a perfect opportunity for me to fulfill a lifelong dream of following in my father’s footsteps of becoming self-employed in the auto repair industry,” Olson said. “I want to create stronger ties to the community and build a financial future for my family.”
