The University of the Aftermarket has announced some of its upcoming courses it will conduct through Northwood University, according to a press release.

Aftermarket 101 is one course lined up for September 12-13 that will serve as an introduction to the industry for those that are new or moving to a different position within the industry. Students will gain insight into “the market, its channels, challenges, and trends.”

Automotive Data Standards is a course meant for aftermarket catalog managers and product information professionals and will go over industry data standards such as ACES and PIES. The first session will take place June 19-20 and the second on October 3-4.

The two-week Leadership 2.0 course will begin August 20-24 and end on March 10-15. It will help managers develop leadership skills with “a blend of real-world industry knowledge, distinguished academic research, and spirited roundtable discussion applied to the challenges confronting the light vehicle aftermarket.”

The INFUSION ’23-24 course taking place October 15-19 and ending May 5-10 will help aftermarket executives figure out how to improve and motivate those within their organization.

“Those who attend this series will be better equipped to operate their businesses in an ever-changing global economy in a post-pandemic environment,” said Dr. Thomas Litzinger, University of the Aftermarket executive director and Northwood University professor.
