Auto Care Academy Releases ‘Aftermarket Essentials’ Educational Course

Aimed at those new to the industry, the self-paced course will cover key aspects of the aftermarket.

The Auto Care Association has announced a new course offering on Auto Care Academy titled Aftermarket Essentials, according to a press release.

The interactive, self-paced course will cover key aspects of the aftermarket industry. It’s an entry-level course aimed at those just entering the field and can be accessed on the Auto Care Academy’s website after purchasing it from the course catalog.

Course participants can expect to learn about the size of the aftermarket industry; how products progress from manufacturers to end-users through distribution; and prominent stakeholders in the industry and the roles they play.

Created in collaboration with the University of the Aftermarket, those who complete the Aftermarket Essentials course will earn 0.15 CEUs to put toward an AAP, MAAP, SPAAP, or ACP certification.

“Aftermarket Essentials lays an excellent foundation for individuals who are new to our industry or in a new position within their organization who require a broader understanding of the mobility aftermarket,” said Dr. Thomas Litzinger, AAP and executive director for the University of the Aftermarket.
