This fully-integrated payments platform will allow a “buy now, pay later” style transaction.

Automotive repair technology company Tekmetric has announced an upgrade to its fully-integrated payments platform, Tekmerchant, that will allow a “buy now, pay later” style transaction, according to a press release.

The new feature will allow customers to arrange for a repair to be done by paying in installments through Affirm and Klarna. Invoices can be shared with customers through text and e-mail, and customers have the option to make payments through their smartphone and pick up their vehicle at a convenient time.

Tekmerchant will incorporate partial as well as complete payments into the point of sale, which will in turn integrate into Tekmetric’s existing payments reports.

“In today’s market, it is important to meet customers wherever they are–digitally and physically,” Tekmetric CEO Sunil Patel stated. “This update provides the tools shop owners need to offer a seamless payment experience for customers, while keeping data fully integrated into the Tekmetric system.”
