A recent webinar from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) discussing the organization's new EV high-voltage electrical safety standards and tests set a new record in attendance, according to a press release.

The webinar had more than 6,500 people registered and a total of 3,334 that viewed the content. Over 2,300 were present for the live presentation, while almost 1,000 viewed the recorded event.

Hosted by ASE’s Corey Glassman and Matt Shepanek, the new xEV high-voltage electrical safety standards for automobiles and medium-heavy duty vehicles were examined in depth. Topics explored included how the new standards were conceived, the differences between Level 1, 2, and 3 tests, and the process of completing a test through NetExam.

“When we announced the new ASE EV standards and testing options earlier this year, we knew there would be a lot of interest, so we scheduled an informational webinar to shed some light and answer questions,” stated Trish Serratore, senior vice president of communications for ASE.
