Oct. 7, 2013—The Hybrid Shop (THS), a national network of hybrid vehicle service centers, is partnering with Monro Muffler Brake Inc. to incorporate THS service centers into four Monro outlets in the Washington, D.C., area.
THS provides hybrid and electric vehicle owners with a variety of maintenance services including but not limited to battery conditioning and rebuilding, motor-generator testing, diagnosis and replacement, power inverter and control system testing.
Monro will now offer THS services, giving hybrid and electric owners an alternative to purchasing new, costly replacement batteries.
"This partnership will allow us to extend our service offerings and the value we bring to hybrid customers across the D.C. area, provide them with a green alternative and allow them to experience the highest performance and efficiency from their vehicles and existing batteries,” said Matt Curry, THS co-founder and CEO.
