Jan. 19, 2021—Burt Brothers Tire & Service, a Utah-based tire dealer, is offering free battery checks, according to a press release.
In an effort to avoid breakdowns and freezing temperatures, the independently-owned network has made free inspections available at any of its auto repair and tire shops.
“The last thing drivers need is to be stranded in freezing temperatures when their battery won’t turn over,” co-owner Jake Burt said in the release. “A little preventative battery maintenance takes just a few minutes and can ward off an inconvenient and potentially even dangerous situation.”
With 12 existing Utah locations, Burt Brothers plans to open an additional store later this year in Layton, Ut.
