ASE Hosting Webinars on Crankcase Emissions Systems, Diagnostic Strategies
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be diving into crankcase emissions systems and solving programming challenges in webinars planned for June, according to a press release.
On June 3, Ryan Kooiman with Standard Motor Products will provide an overview on how vehicles have gone from a simple road draft tube that allowed oil vapors into the atmosphere, to a positive crankcase ventilation system, to modern turbocharged vehicles with sealed and filtered crankcase ventilation systems. Attendees will learn about the evolution, diagnosis, and repair of these systems.
On June 10, Garage Guru Jose Vazquez will draw from his own experience to help participants learn about diagnostic strategies, as well as common pitfalls. Step-by-step, hands-on demonstrations of module programming procedures will be provided, along with assistance from Garage Guru Josh Whiteman.
Webinar participants will receive a certificate of attendance for the live sessions within one week.
