Alex Noll, CEO of ABR Houston, will be leading a session at the upcoming Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, taking place October 8–10 in Glendale, Arizona.

With over 22 years of experience as a BMW Master Technician and ASE Master Technician, Noll brings industry expertise and a focus on leadership, culture, and performance. After 12 years in the dealership world, Noll struck out on his own—building ABR Houston, a European automotive repair shop with two locations in Houston, from the ground up.

ABR Houston is now an award-winning shop known for excellence, integrity, and an obsessive commitment to both client service and team development. Under Noll’s leadership, ABR has earned multiple “Best of the Best” awards from the Houston Chronicle, several Carfax Top Shop awards, and over 650 five-star reviews.

An Eagle Scout, former BMW technical instructor, and member of the Klein School District’s automotive advisory board, Noll is passionate about investing in the next generation of technicians and elevating the standard for shop culture across the industry. Blunt, witty, and unapologetically direct, he’s the guy who says what everyone’s thinking—but also gives you the tools to fix it.

Noll’s session will do just that. Titled “Your Shop Culture Sucks… And It’s YOUR Fault,” he’ll challenge shop owners to take accountability, stop blaming today’s workforce, and start leading effectively. You'll learn how leadership mistakes hurt your business, how to build real accountability, and how ABR Houston built a loyal, high-performing team.

Culture isn’t perks—it’s how your team feels daily. If you're ready to stop making excuses and lead a winning team, this session is for you.
