Notably, there will be two new award categories this year: Technician of the Year and Service Advisor of the Year. The former will recognize an automotive service technician with at least two years of experience, and the latter will go to a service advisor with at least one year of experience.

These are in addition to the existing award categories, which are as follows:

  • Educator of the Year
  • Facility of the Year
  • Best Website
  • Humanitarian of the Year
  • Radical Generosity Award
  • Best Social Media
  • Best Places to Work

Applications are also open for 2026 VISION scholarships. These include the Amazing Women in Automotive Scholarship, the Educator Scholarship, and multiple management and technical scholarships, including those honoring Harvey Chan, Tim Cummings, and Anthony Williams.

The awards and scholarships will be presented at the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo, taking place next year in Kansas City, March 5 to 8. The deadline to apply for scholarships or nominate deserving shops and individuals for awards is Jan. 9, 2026.
