Jan. 18, 2019—A new auto repair shop is set to open in Dayton, Wash, according to The Times. The new business, Dayton Auto Repair, will be run by Robert Bryant, an independent auto repair mechanic with previous dealership experience.
"I just decided there was a beautiful building in Dayton. I could be my own boss, and I had the money to do that," Bryant told The Times.
Bryant previously worked in a machine shop rebuilding engines, according to the publication, and began training in auto repair while working at Round-Up City Dodge in Pendleton, Ore. He briefly opened up his own auto repair business, "Mobile Technology," and worked for Chrysler dealerships from 1998-2012, according to The Times.
He was last at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Walla Walla, but left last Nov., the publication reports.
