Oct. 11, 2022

The PulseQ charger is the first foray into the electric vehicle market for TOPDON.

Oct. 11, 2022—TOPDON has launched PulseQ, its first EV charging station product.

According to a press release, the PulseQ's SAE J1772 (Type 1) plug is an alternating current electric vehicle charger. It is compatible with brands that include General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan, Audi and beyond.

“We are eager to launch our new EV product line with the release of the PulseQ. This is a pivotal turning point for TOPDON as we navigate toward a greener, lower carbon future for all,” said Mike Zhou, founder, TOPDON via the press release. “As the EV market continues to grow and gain popularity, we understand the importance of our consumers having a reliable and trustworthy product. In many cases, users are faced with the uncertainty of whether a charging station is compatible with their vehicle. Our PulseQ relieves this worry as its adjustable current range from 6A to 40A powers most EVs on the market today.”

The PulseQ U.S. online version has a Plug-and-Play feature as well as App Control. The latter uses a smartphone to set charging times remotely. The Plug-and-Play option lets charging begin once the charger becomes connected to the vehicle. Additionally, the charger is equipped with various safety features such as overload protection, short circuit protection and more.

PulseQ can be purchased on Amazon. TOPDON is a global automotive diagnostics tool and service provider.
