April 13, 2016—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced Tuesday its participation in last week’s Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) panel on connected cars.
The purpose of the panel was to discuss the future of vehicle-to-vehicle communication and how the aftermarket can prepare for the advancements.
Panelists included:
- Nat Beuse, associate administrator, Vehicle Safety Research, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
- Donny Seyfer, AAM, chairman, Automotive Service Association (ASA) and co-owner of Seyfer Automotive Inc.
- Xavier Mosquet, senior partner and managing director, Boston Consulting Group
- David Williams, senior planning manager, Marketing & Strategic Planning, DENSO
“Emerging vehicle technologies continue to generate a high level of interest from industry leaders and policymakers alike. I’m encouraged by the cooperation exemplified during today’s discussion and look forward to continuing to work with these organizations in the future,” Seyfer said following the panel.
