March 20, 2019—Two auto shops in Michigan received a cease and desist after operating without a registration. According to WWMT, Michigan's Department of State issued a cease and desist to both NL Repair & Performance of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Welling's Garage in Remus, Mich.
According to WWMT, NL Repair & Performance LLC's owner, Manuel Sanabria-Galarza was given instructions to submit an application following an inspection done by a secretary of state official. Once the application wasn't submitted, shop received a cease and desist on Feb. 2, the station reports.
Welling's Garage was asked to submit an application following an inspection that took place on Jan.16, and received a cease and desist on Feb. 6 after action was not taken.
