FRANKFURT, Sept. 16, 2014—The Automechanika Frankfurt 2014 show will feature a record 4,361 exhibitors from 71 countries, show organizers said during a press conference Tuesday.
Occupying more than 305,000 square meters of exhibition space, show organizers said that the show’s growth reflects the dynamism of the automotive aftermarket.
“The growing variety of models and ever more complex technologies have led to a larger number of players in the market and an increasing numbers of spare parts,” said Detlef Braun, member of the executive board of Messe Frankfurt. “The background to Automechanika Frankfurt is a worldwide turnover by German parts and accessories manufacturers amounting to 101 billion Euros in 2013. The trend for 2014 is also in the direction of growth between 3 and 4 percent.”
Automechanika Frankfurt will be held Sept. 16-20 in Frankfurt.
