Toyota Recalls 2019 Prius, RAV4 Hybrid

Lexus hybrids are also on the list of recalls.

August 20, 2019—Toyota has recalled many of its models for faults in the brake assist systems, reports Road Show.

 The 2019 Prius an RAV4 Hybrid are the majority of the recall, while a few other models are also included. The models include the 2020 Corolla Hybrid, 2019-2020 Prius Prime plug-in hybrid and a group of Lexus hybrid models—2019 Lexus LS500, ES300h, UX250h, and LS500h.

All together, the recall covers 6,925 vehicles built between April and June of 2019, with the automakers estimating 25 percent of the total number of recalled vehicles are affected by the defect.
